Next meeting

The next meeting of the ACUSA is to be held on Monday 5th July 7pm, in the Rugby Supporters lounge. At this meeting copies of the newly printed law books along with explanations of the changes will be given, along with on-field shirts for those who didn't get them last season.

At the recent Auckland Cricket Award nights, the following umpires were recognised for their contribution to the game of cricket:

  • Fred Nathras - club umpire of the year
  • Jason Hoyte - novice umpire
  • Simon McNamara - most umpiring days
  • Barry Frost - ACA umpire of the year

Umpire Exchanges

Tony Gillies was in Melbourne from 12-20th February, where he stood in a 2 day Premier Mens match in the Cricket Victoria, Melbourne Competition. During the week, he stood in the Country Week Carnival, which is a 1 day competition, with coloured clothing and white ball.

Kath Geaney & Ian McCormick were in Wanganui from 12-14th February, where they stood in both days of the Chapple cup finals.
